On Friday, it seemed as if summer had really arrived in Sydney. Come midday the temperature had hit 30 degrees, the air was thick with heat and the sun was searing when I popped out to get my lunch.
By the end of the day, things were quite different. The temperature dropped suddenly to the mid-teens and there I was, standing in my short sleeveless frock at a rooftop bar, lamenting my lack of cardigan and frozen extremities.
My point is that at this time of year, the weather is about as unpredictable as it can get – so don’t rule out a thicker fabric and long sleeve. And let’s not be too practical here anyway – this REDValentino dress should make your wardrobe for its breathtaking vintage-style elegance alone.
